The "Simple Video Converter with DropBox backup" converts from/ into formats MP4, MOV, M4V, 3GP and allows to change bit rate and resolution of video.
Reducing bit rate and resolution while converting a video, you can considerably reduce its size.
The advantages are as followings:

1 Launch the application
2 Click on “+” and choose the source (Camera or Media library)
3 Confirm your choice by clicking on “UseChoose”
4 Choose required quality of video and click on “Convert”
Initial video is not deleted automatically.

does not do anything but cost money.
This app is useless to me as I cant import videos onto my iPad from Dropbox that are in a .mp4 format. Hopefully the developers add this in the future. It was a waste of money for me without it.
Good but need to be able to import from dropbox and it will be a 5 star
This is an app that says what it does, converts video. The reason I downloaded this app in the first place is that we are on our honeymoon and we didnt have a good way to store the massive amounts of video that we are taking in Maui. After running all the raw video through this application, I was able to uploaded successfully to my dropbox account and keep filming every day. The only reason this got 4/5 stars is because of the fact that it turns off the application when the phone goes to sleep. For this reason you have to go into your settings and turn from 1-5 minutes to never for your phone to go to sleep. If this functionality would be built in to override this to never automatically, this would be the perfect app. Bottom line is that if you need an app to convert video on the fly this one is a no-brainer. I bought it at the introductory price of the $1.99. I wouldve paid up to $10 for this app. Get it, and start converting already!
This app does nothing but move videos that you already took from one app the another. Least useful app in the app store. If I could give it 0 stars I would
